I was born on June 1, 2005, in Bursa, Turkey. After graduating from the historic Bursa Erkek Lisesi (Bursa Boys' High School), I began my studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kütahya Dumlupınar University to turn my childhood passion for technology into a professional pursuit. Ever since I was young, learning by experimenting, breaking things, and building small projects has been my greatest drive.
Every great initiative starts with a personal story. Mine blossomed during a casual conversation with my cousin. We both realized and confessed how often we were forgetting to take our own medications. This simple moment of 'forgetfulness' was actually a massive health problem experienced silently by millions of people. That day, I decided technology should be an invisible supporter rather than an overwhelming burden.
Making mistakes is in human nature. Life is an ongoing lesson where we constantly learn, and what matters is how practically and constructively we approach these mistakes. I put this exact philosophy at the heart of MaYana: creating a system that doesn't judge people for their weaknesses and forgetfulness, but instead offers compassionate solutions.
Today, most applications are obsessed with taking things from the user—data, time, attention. I noticed people were drowning in complex interfaces and privacy concerns. My fundamental goal was to provide genuine societal benefit. I wanted to design a structure that doesn't exploit user data, but instead offers absolute trust and effortless simplicity.
We experience most health issues because we get caught up in the rush of life and forget to think about ourselves. My vision is clear: 'To create an AI-powered companion that thinks about you more than you think about yourself, always watching your back.' Because health is everything. MaYana is designed to never forget you, even when you forget yourself.
